The Charm Collection section is split into five parts, due to Steam guide limitations – but sorted accordingly to the four rows shown in the Charm Collection menu within the game. Since many people regard gameplay functionalities and character progression as a story of itself and vital to certain games, the original version of this guide includes spoiler tags. This is a detailed guide (that's still work in progress for some exact values) about Charms in Hollow Knight: Where and how to acquire them all, what they do exactly, listing strong and secret combinations and explaining what 'overcharming' is. Where did you read about that change regarding Hiveblood? Can you provide further information and/or a source? I'll test it myself and count the time, though.Hollow Knight Complete Charm Collection Guide But there is no hidden o r secret 'Charm combination'. They do combine into a fairly good spell casting damage build. So yes, sure, there is a (strong) 'Charm combination'. You said:Īnd might there be a charm combination between Flukenest, Defender's Crest and Shaman Stone? That's why I stated that your very first comment is a little imprecise. At least I don't know any and never read about them. Adding Shaman Stone to any of those combinations simply increases their damage (as for spells in general). Flukenest and Defender's Crest combined change the same spell into a single, really big maggot, that explodes on impact and leaves a toxic cloud. Okay, so Flukenest turns the Vengeful Spirit/Shade Soul spell into a swarm of small maggots. Thanks for taking your time and reading all of this – and a special thanks for the ongoing, continous support here on Reddit, regarding any false information or unanswered questions! So for all players that already know Hollow Knight pretty well, that's the go-to version in my opinion. Since I now prefer the newer, spoiler-tag-free version, because it's cleaner and easier to work with, that one will always be the first to receive any new information and changes. I will update both guides for all future updates that Hollow Knight will receive. Complete Charm Collection (+Secret Combinations) / Lifeblood Update While I was at it, since I had to re-format the whole guide anyway, I did a complete visual overhault, so the guide looks much nicer than before, including custom made pictures of all Charms, fitting quotes etc. This one has all the information revealed from the start, so please browse it carefully and on your own risk. Since some people complained about the amount of spoiler tags, enough time has passed since the first release and with the constant addition of new content, I thought it's time for a version that's FREE of all those spoiler tags. I wrote that version just a few days after the game was released last year, so it's designed for new players that just want to look something specific up, without reading too much. So every piece of information can be revealed one by one. Every Charm and Charm combination has several seperated spoiler tags, regarding the effects, location etc. The original one includes A LOT of spoiler tags, so it's as safe as possible to browse without spoiling anything. )Īs before, there are two versions of the guide. See this post as a short public service announcement of some sorts. Most of you probably know all of the information in it already (including the new secret Charm combinations), but since I've put a lot of work in both guides, I wanted to let you all know anyway. I know this is a little late, but I sadly forgot to inform all of you that both of my Charm collection guides are fully updated for all Lifeblood changes for a few weeks now. r/demonssouls /r/darksouls /r/darksouls2 /r/darksouls3 /r/bloodborne /r/saltandsanctuary /r/castlevania /r/metroid Ultra-high-resolution Interactive Hallownest Map at with downloads and making-of videos. These sites have cool Hollow Knight content!
